Is casa Carmela a must visit in valencia?
Also will probably do one dinner in Alicante too if anyone has recommendations for that area.
I was travelling solo and Casa Carmela wanted to charge my the full amount (80 Euros ++) for the paella so I went to Paella Valencia for 1 at Restaurante Navarro instead. Wonderful restaurant.

Anyone ever been to the village of morella north of Valencia? If so, thoughts?
FWIW, the arroz dishes at Casa Carmela are better than those at Llisa Negra. If I were going back for just one paella or arroz meal, I would go to Casa Carmela. The other dishes though are better at Llisa Negra - starters, other mains, especially dessert - hardly any duds.

For Alicante Nou Manolin or its brother Piripi are musts, as is La Taberna del Gourmet.
