I never drink martinis, it’s not for my tastebuds.
I drink G&T - 4-5 G&T’s a day.

That’s a lot if you do it everyday
I agree.
I should be able to stick to 2-3 G&T’s a day.
I’m probably an alcoholic.
I’ve tried going 2-3 days without alcohol and it went just fine. But I missed my daily G&T’s.
Out of curiosity, this week I picked up some Kirkland London Gin from Costco. It’s good! In a comparison test with Tanqueray, the Kirkland had deeper and wider botanicals, with the Tanqueray austere by comparison. The K. made a fine dirty martini.
I just bought a bottle of Forthave Blue, and I hate it. I tried it in a martini yesterday and it tastes like poison. Today I made a negroni with it, which is a bit better, but still not so hot. Any ideas for using it up? I dislike tonic as much as I dislike this gin.
Ramos Gin Fizz - it might help to smoothen out some of the edges of the gin
Thanks, will try. A lot more complicated than my usual cocktails!
Tomorrow I’ll make a Last Word. That should be alright, hopefully.
I read a review. It sounds as if it might work in an Army and Navy. That’s where I have used up disfavored gins. Although I have tried an awful lot of gins and enjoyed many, I always come back to the safety and lower prices of original Tanq and Red Cap Bombay, 99% of the time in a 3:1 martini with Dolin dry.
Orgeat! I will try to make this.
I used up some truly horrible gin by making very spicy Red Snappers.
I was in Guernsey recently and regret not picking up a bottle of this, which was readily available in the Duty Free. I was preoccupied with work stuff. Sigh, maybe next time if they invite me back.
I finally tried Tanq 10 in a martini. It was reminiscent of a gimlet.
Interesting. I liked it more than I thought I would, and I prefer my martinis on the dry AF side.

The second time was much less jarring.
Nobody? I ain’t TOFTT ![]()
Hoping they will have some at the airport duty free. Couldn’t find any to buy in the city but enjoyed the ‘Flowerbomb’ variety in a cocktail at the Hanoi Metropole.
