Ahhh I get it. My only real experience with Indian is Udupi Palace and various buffets many moons ago.
Feel free to take one for the team! Since I mostly eat vegan I live vicariously through these discussions.

Thank you! The quinoa chaat sounds delicious. I love the vegan House Chaat at Dishoom in the UK.
Tried dil se by delivery. Had the Malai tikka. Decent with a promo I think. Not as bland though I still prefer bhoj.
Side of paneer is home made and mango chutney is from trusty old Shan company
The Bombay Club from Chai Culture at 1445 Gerrard East. $12.99 before tax.
Very good.
I didn’t try the desserts.
Trying out the newly relocated " The Host, Richmond Hill "
Starting off with a couple of take-out dishes:
Nalli Nihari Gosht ( Northern Indian Lamb Shank Curry )
Rajasthani Goat Masala ( Baby Goat Curry )
Pretty tasty but
This was a botched delivery from Karachi karahi. I think this is one of those combo kitchen location which offers items from various spots (I couldn’t locate a restaurant from their address on delivery app.)
Minor/major update on Karachi karahi. Ended up throwing most of the leftovers (usually the case for catering leftovers imo) as it was almost inedible. Ordered a fresh karahi from trusty old karahi boyz which is dependable I guess. Went well
By no means cheap eats, but was rather impressed with Bar Goa. Was with a group of 8 so tried several dishes and on balance I liked most. I loved interpretation of Chaat/Pani Puri. Great attempt at Prawn Balchao (if this is a dish you eat at home, your “grandmother/mother/aunt” probably made it better. We also enjoyed the lamb chops, chicken tikka (juicy) and shrimp curry. I will go back and try more seafood and vegetables.
It’s expensive though and some may not get past that.
