Just having 25 minutes to make potatoes is silly. I’d rather they give them time to kick arse and have highlights as they go.
OG ICJ killed it. Loved that show.

Julia has her own show called Julia at Home on the Cook’s Country streaming channel. I also noticed a few new faces on ATK–I think a few of them are the winners of the ATK competition show from last year (that I did not watch).
Can’t be sure exactly which show you saw but I just watched one that was on a few days ago. The last segment was as you say (yeast dinner rolls; Bridget with someone new) but Julia was in the first segment (about short ribs) also with someone different but who I’ve seen before.. They’ve kind of changed their format a bit and brought in some new people.
I mostly will watch Great Chefs of the World. Started around 1982 . Comfortable to relax to after work . Along with Jaques Pepin cooking with Julia Child.
I love the way the Great Chefs of New Orleans voice over says “pe-pah”. Could have been Great Chefs of the South.
ETA It was Mary Lou Conroy!
More about Great Chefs
I feel like I sort of grew up, or rather became an adult watching those.
I grew up watching the Great Chefs series on PBS with my dad. I got to even watch the show and then eat at the restaurants featured a handful of times. I can honestly say that I am certain that this and cooking with my father from my earliest memories are responsible for making me a chef.
I used to love Justin Wilson and how he said the ingredients, especially un-yones.
I gar RON tee it!
I’monna trow deez shimps in dah pot.
