Depends on my mood.
Then, depending on the quality of the shop, you have missed a real treat. Or not.
A few have eat-in facilities but most are takeaway only. Which is fine for the classic night time takeaway. F & C eaten from the paper as you walk home after a long night in the pub.
Or, as we did for lunch last week… F & C from the village chippy and eaten in the Memorial Park. Dunno if there’s new owners or simply new staff but this was a very greasy experience, with the batter on thr fish not really crisp and the chips needing longer in the fryer. We may not be back in a rush.

Cheesecake, if it’s one of those super light Japanese style ones. Otherwise, pass on both.
The coop used to sell something quite like them as ‘mini potato rostis’ although they’ve stopped. There are something like them sold at Morrisons (or once upon a time were) but I can’t remember what they were calling them and I also know you don’t particularly care for them (Morrisons).
The late father in law used to like Morrisons and I’d take him for his weekly shop. At that point, he could get about OK so I just used to go to the caff for their very reasonable full breakfast. Last time I went to do our own shopping, we ddi self-checkout (as the queues for the main checkouts were horrendous) and it was awful. Machine kept failing to scan and we had to keep getting someone to clear it. Vowed not to return.

However, the true bottom line is like the scene in Groundhog Day where Bill Murray asks the drunk guy, “So, you want to throw up here or in the car?” The reply was, “Both.”
