A great piece of music. I like the way that it builds up into a crescendo, and then after the climax there is a solo violin.

I don’t speak Greek, but there’s something very profound-sounding about this song.

I discovered this singer via Beethoven; she’s one of the soloists in one of Herbert von Karajan’s recordings of the Ninth.
