I remember fires in one in North Pomona on Indian Hill Blvd. and one in Salem on Commercial.
a Mozza Burger (Mozzarella and bacon on a beef hamburger ) at the A & W in Woodstock, ON.
They have iced lattes available now. (will report on that iced latte after I have it.)
A Mozza Burger Combo with an iced latte costs $17.50 CAD in Sept 2025.
A&W is pretty decent for a FF chain and the breakfast is surprisingly good(not as good as McD’s tho) . I have a couple of them in the nabe.
I used to love the Wendys 4 by 4 deal until they discontinued it with the chicken sandwich
. The Spicy Ghost Pepper sauce is my absolute favorite and its underrated, make sure it try if you love a spicy sauce! I can never go wrong with a Spicy Chicken sandwich at Chic-fil-a or Orange chicken+chowmein meal at Panda Express either.
I’m breaking up with the filet o fish.
Went with an 8th grader today, first time in at least a year. The filet was maybe 2*x2”. I’m done.
I would say McDonald’s. I eat there once every 2 years . Taco Bell maybe the same . What I like if your traveling. You can get in and get out .
Popeye’s is way better, But only available during Lent. So you appreciate it more!
Getting smaller?
That was my impression; covered about 1)3 of the bread. But it was also bland, a little mushy, and not crisp. Not at all satisfying. In retrospect I wondered if this location just got it wrong.
Just as well!
Super.
More for me. ![]()
Big fan of PINCHO Burgers.
Sweet potato tater tots and the Rodeo Smash Burger is. a hard to beat combo.
That is one of my fast food memories. Took my boss to lunch at a Tommy’s once where the outside table was tilted and it was an issue keeping the orange stream from running into his lap. But…… oh so good!!!
So …you’re coming to Sacramento…to eat? Let me think..I think you may have another place you like in Sacramento.
The McDonald’s on Douglas Blvd in Granite Bay will give you an extra tall serving of a soft serve cone, gratis, if you ask nicely.
Lucky boss to have you leading the way.
