This is an old lifeguard trick. Wanna close up early? Find a regular sized Tootsie Roll, sneak it into the pool, evaculate the pool when someone notices it, pool closed, shift over. Pool manager has to empty, clean and refill the pool. Just enough time to make that date.

I filed my taxes today. Not too much pain.
I had done some preliminary estimates prior to filing and it was as expected.
Other than that, just a quiet day.

I spend far too much time on SM, but have successfully avoided any “influencers.” But I’m rarely ever on IG, and even less so on TikTok, where most of these folks seem to hang out.

Happens all the time to my friend who runs a lower range Thai restaurant with a lot of late teen and 20something university students and wannabe influencers as customers.

The restaurant’s sign off on their final comment to the “influencer” (who hit up several restaurants!) was the best!
