Is this from Yelp? Yelp doesn’t have any new reviews of Domo for the past two months. The red underline is for poster “Sasha Periera” who seems like a ringer because they only have “1 review.” Domo might be open now but how much business did they lose and who wants to spend $200 on a delicate item like sushi on a place that you don’t know whether it’s open or not. Several news sites contacted staff at Domo after the closing sign was posted and even they didn’t seem to know at that time what was going on.
Maybe someone can tell me, if possible, what Karla paid for her caviar feast in Napa for this meal? Inquiring minds want to know. Are there any disclosure standards on tiktok? There are some very good , honest tiktokkers.
That’s funny - any “influencer” who “cooperates” with a restaurant (in an obvious or non-obvious way) is highly biased towards that restaurant and any “review” is completely useless (and their negative reviews only happening when owners/chefs didn’t agree to give free food)

Luke and Thien eat late night at Toyose, the Korean Chicken Garage at 3814 Noriega in the Outer Sunset, SF.
excerpt:
Toyose’s menu isn’t so different from what you’ll find at other soju bangs around the Bay, but the food comes out fast and it’s all solidly prepared — the stretchy, golden-brown cheese corn; the puffed-up steamed egg that tastes so juicy and savory spooned over white rice. We were especially fond of a spicy-sweet calamari stir-fry noodle dish, wherein the squid tentacle segments mirrored the thickness and bouncy chew of the accompanying udon noodles. And we were surprised by how rustic and homey the vegetable and seafood–laden doenjang (fermented soybean paste) stew was — a soothing counterpoint when everything else you’ve ordered is spicy or deep-fried.
from Oaklandside/Berkeleyside:
A longtime community staple for fresh French-Vietnamese fare is bidding farewell to Berkeley. Vanessa’s Bistro, open for nearly two decades on Solano Ave., will shutter permanently at the end of December.
