Yup. My PIC likes this bread a lot, too — maybe even more than the Pane Turano. Gonna have to hoard some loaves in case it’s a seasonal item.
Can’t decide between MEH and YAY for the zillionaire cheesecake dessert with salted caramel and chocolate ganache. Other reviews rave about it.
I found it very sweet (duh), and I’m usually not big on cheesecakes… BUT for a budget dessert / change up from ice cream? Why TF not?
For me, it could use some textural addition like toasted nuts, or actual salt flakes.
Why… Wednesday is ALDI DAY! I grabbed a multigrain/seedy version of our beloved bistro bread,
a gorgeous jar of Amarena cherries for Manhattans or other booze that requires a cherry,
and two boxes of papppppardellllle bc I am a pasta hoarder, pure and simple ![]()
I’ll likely try the bread first (booze break tonight) & will report, but no doubt it’s just as excellent as the plain bistro bread.
