so many to choose from in just Manhattan.
The Copper Mug at 38 W 30th St. Turkish owned, I believe.
Great capps & pastel de nata. Decided to have a cookie the other day. Oatmeal, raisin, coconut. Kind of 1/4 muffin in height. A little chewy and crunchy and mighty good. Not that cloyingly sweet usual thing.
Cookies by Jackie at the Col Circle Underground. Meh on both capp and double choc cookie.

My favourite place for a leisurely coffee and a slice of cake is Café Sabarsky in the Neue Galerie
I also like Lady M location on East 78th on the Upper East Side, for Japanese crêpe cakes and other sweets.
I also like the rugelach at Breads Bakery’s Union Square location.
Not at other locations?

Not that I don’t like their rugelach elsewhere.
I go to the Union Square location because it used to have a bigger menu then the kiosk at Bryant Park, as well as indoor seating.
