Always! One of the jammy juniors made me this little guy for my Nikolaus plate this year:
He’s about 2 inches tall and made of wood, string, and leather. He’s definitely going on the Christmas tree.

My husband is Dutch and I put cookies (peppernoten brought by his cousin in the NL), a chocolate letter and coins, a chocolate Santa and other Dutch and German cookies I bought locally in his wooden shoes. Yes, he wears them! This is supposed to be from Sinterklaas. I even found frozen popperjas at Trader Joe’s.
Don’t get him started on the Black Pete controversy. He gets very annoyed.
