I’m mystified as to why aloha is allowed but not hola.
Or gotta but not holla.
After all, if there were any logic to their omissions this thread wouldn’t exist ![]()
Capon allowed today but not caponata . ![]()
And no pannacotta! ![]()
Yeah, or coppa.
Today’s food entries: focaccia and confit.
And fontina.
AHA! I’m still working on this one, so thank you ![]()
That shocked me.
Same, which is why I didn’t even try.
PS: Also peeved by the inclusion of yet another random abbrev: fanfic ![]()
Yes, but not fanfiction…is this meant to be a hyphenated word, or two separate words?
Yup. I tried that a few times. The hyphenating is just about as random as the inclusion or exclusion choices.
I can’t remember if it’s been mentioned (and don’t know if the search function catches blurred words?), but chana wasn’t included today.
chineat least a food -adjacent word. Butchers evidently have no imput.
Wait, what?
No gari.
Oops. Missing a space.
Chine
Ukulele
Yeah, it’s not a food word I guess unless you’re a termite, but WTAF?
What’s the beef with ukulele?
