Spelling Bee Thread — that is totally a (food) word!

Tricky one today. And no plov.

How do you blur the spoilers in this new version of HO?

It’s under the plus sign on the right.

Like this: boconcini is totally a food word.

The blur spoiler requires only one click, tho

Oh, I didn’t even notice that. I neglected to scroll down.

kimchi was a new one I think recently. I can’t remember having played that word before.

Today’s pangram seemed to be made specifically for me :face_in_clouds:

Still pretty random about which abbreviations are included & which aren’t (pedo).

I’m finding a lot of the fun is gone.

I don’t know — between Connections, Wordle, and the bee, the SB is still my favorite puzzle every morning, despite the occasional annoyances :slightly_smiling_face:

I find connections much more stressful. Play wordle, dordle, spelling bee, tiles, letterbox and waffle every day. Also words with friends for many many years. Hopefully helping my increasingly old and creaky brain to stay young(ish).

I don’t find it stressful at all. I love getting to Genius without any help, and try to only look at hints afterwards — like when there are only 3-5 words left.

Some I def have to look up after the fact, tho

No doubt I bitched about this one before, but … Inuit is not a word, but Panama is.

Hokay, bee. Sure.

Another Bee, another 'I can’t believe tiffin isn’t accepted. Maybe someday. :woman_shrugging:

I was going to say the same. They allowed farina. They didn’t allow iftar.

Maybe because of Panama hat?

Today’s food words included tikka and ciabatta. I seem to never remember the latter :woman_facepalming:
