Not a figgy pudding, just a figgy cake, along with some blackberries to keep them company. I happened to purchase a container of smaller than usual figs which lent themselves to being used whole in the cake. They are delicious in the cake.

All the evidence is gone except for a small bit of pound cake. The slice of cake was topped with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, a bunch of jumbo blueberries, and a drizzle of orgeat.

Our cookie lady gifted us an ‘experimental’ cinnamon date blondie along with yesterday’s order 
We haven’t had a chance to try this one yet, as I ordered late (d’oh!) and we were already done with our afternoon coffee, but we will today.
I’d ordered us a triple chocolate pistachio cookie & another of her amazing CC walnut cookies. We are so fortunate to have her in our 'hood

Our cookie delivery for the weekend arrived just in time for our afternoon cuppa on the patio, still warm from the oven 
I had a slice of the CC walnut cookie,
and a spoon of the halva a friend brought over for ladies night.

Half of this pistachio kadayif cookie. Purchased at World Market today. Good flavor and light crunch, not overly sweet. Would I spend $5.99 on the regular? Probably not. But a nice sweet after my dinner.
