Welcome to the nomination thread for COTMs for the first quarter of 2026!
Over recent quarters, we have tried to create an inclusive environment of books and blogs that encompass both everyday cooking and project / stretch cooking for those who enjoyed the challenge of the original COTM, with options for online and library access where possible.
Please type nominations in ALL CAPS, and use regular capitalization to discuss, rather than nominate.
You may nominate as many sources as you like but please nominate with the intention of cooking along should your nominee be selected.
Last quarter’s selections remain open for your participation (Maangchi Quarter and Chrissy Teigen Quarter, as do all prior COTM and COOKING FROM threads.

As we are running a bit late, nominations will close SUNDAY DECEMBER 28, followed by voting if needed (if there are popular clustered nominations, we may not need a vote, as in some recent quarters).
To the extent people are busy with the holidays and there isn’t enough traction right now, we may extend this quarter’s books into January, and revisit nominations for new sources then.
