I spelled it this way and Google must have auto corrected! Annoying.
These pears are very sweet, juicy, so much flavor!
Well, I guess I’ll have to get me some next time I get a chance ![]()
Do you find them much better than the comice pears you get in other shops/supermarkets ?
I also look forward to pears, especially comice pears at Trader Joes. This year in Santa Cruz/northern CA they’re great!
The bag of organic comice pears at TJ is excellent; I still believe the Harry & David ones are even better.
Yes, I do. I just peel and eat standing over the sink. Very elegant, no?
Oops, I meant the Harry & David box pears
Nope, Comice.
Enthusiastic yea for the pretzel slims. They are way crispier, crunchier, and thinner than the Aldi version.
Can’t forgive them for replacing the Columbus packaged Calabrese salami with their own label. It’s been a staple for many years. Their own label is not nearly as good and no one else sells it around here.
I bought one box and if you let them fully ripen, even after preserving them in the fridge, they are super sweet and juicy. Makes peeling them messy but so good.
Pretty sure I’m still seeing Columbus in our store.
Their own label is usually just a large producer repackaging something, not their own production.
It’s possible they had Columbus switch the all-plastic packaging into the (more) sustainable one I mentioned upthread.
The Thanksgiving / holiday stuff is rolling out slowly but surely – lots of new hors d’oeuvres, fully made sides, and more. Trying to walk around with blinders on at the moment so as not to “try” everything that would be a disaster for my healthier eating attempts ![]()
I was hoping it was just re-packaging, so I bought 2 pkgs., returned one , but it is not the same product. The Columbus brand was far better
Maybe it’s this, their packaging looks sort of similar.
I like Olli!
A big ol’ YAY! for the milk-chocolate honeycomb candy.
https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/milk-chocolate-covered-honeycomb-candy-077330
I often find TJ’s chocolate very one-note and often vanilla heavy, but in this context, it really works. And the honeycomb is very slightly salty.
This could be a dangerous movie snack.
Caution: the last bits of honeycomb can become that super filling-extracting sticky of hard caramel. This may be seen as a big or a feature.
I was hoping that the raviolis were no longer in those plastic trays, but they still were. WF has cardboard-packed ravioli from Italy, but quite a bit more expensive than at TJ’s.
