I do that too. Especially when the grease is clean and clear, and oh so good for sautéing and adding wonderful flavor.

I don’t mind a few pockets of jus if I use it up quickly.

Poultry, lamb, bacon fat in particular :face_savoring_food:

Egg & chip (chip & egg?).

The management team at the office made the staff a pancake breakfast this morning! It’s an early Christmas celebration. Pictured are the pancakes I had for breakfast then cheese and chocolate that I had for dessert. There were also croissants, palmiers and Timbits which I didn’t have since I was too full. I have now had so much sugar I am now bouncing off the walls…

The management team seems to have pulled out the most festive plastic tablecloth we have!

A stupid-late breakfast after working right after my morning cuppa, then having to meet several appointments. Oof. Made up for it by being extra:

3 floffy scramblees with scallions & parsley fried up in chicken fat and topped with trout roe, smoked salmon on the side.

Lefse (aka potato tortilla flatbreads) purchased last week are doing a stellar job serving as breakfast egg wraps. Today’s had cream cheese and dill, too. The last bit w/o egg became “dessert” spread with cherry jam.

My husband always eats his last piece of breakfast toast with jam and calls it dessert just like his father did.

My husband also does that. I hope we’re not both married to a bigamist.

At this point (50 years), whatever!

Well…yeah. (We’ve only been married for a year and change, but we’ve been together since 2000.)

Ha ha! Don’t worry! I do it, too. Simply to save on calories (plus, every bite of fried egg needs a bite of buttered toast without jam).

The pork that keeps on porking. Post-arm day piggy over steamed rice with extra pork jus, lime juice, El Yucateco, Sinatra

I might turn into a white rice convert with such luscious toppings :face_savoring_food:

Breakfast today was a lobster and pollock pate we picked up on our recent trip to Victoria BC. I was skeptical going in, but am converted - really good! We’ll stock up next time we’re up there.

This came in a sampler pack. Next we’ll try the crab and pollock pate, and lastly, the chum salmon pate.
