I made your Dad’s soup recipe (with a few minor alterations) on a cold Autumn evening. It was absolutely wonderful and we had 1 quart left over, frozen for another cold night’s dinner. Thank you for sharing this recipe! I made gruyère grilled cheese sandwich fingers to accompany. Yum
