I went to a Christmas bazaar at a seniors center yesterday and loaded up on sweets made by the members so I bought a plum filled donut for breakfast this morning. Since I wanted something more substantial to tide me over to a later lunch I had a plate full of fruit first. Pictured is a banana, an ataulfo mango and a clementine then the donut for dessert. It was mostly donut with a teaspoon of jam in the middle.
Past “Chef Dan” was bored one day and batch cooked some Bread Wrapped Cheddar Cheese Link Sausages. I used pizza dough for the bread wrapping (credit Adam Ragusea - youtube). I figured I could use them for something and froze them for a later date.
It turns out Neighbor #2 loves these things, so I paired them with some scrambled eggs (not pictured) and delivered a quick and easy hot breakfast.
Sourdough with cottage cheese, everything bagel seasoning, and canadian bacon.

Still working on holiday leftovers. Grilled ham and Swiss on a whole wheat cranberry-pecan loaf. First of the season (for us) mandarins
Breakfast today was the last of Thursday’s turkey dinner. Breast meat with gravy. Carrot salad. Cranberry-pecan loaf for toast.
Green eggs and ham. A scramble with the last of the leftover spinach and onion gratin. Ham slices fried in butter. Convection-oven spuds.
